About Us

We really like meeting people from other cultures and this has led both of us to our current occupations, Trish is an ESOL teacher and John has a wholesale business supplying International Ships at the Port of Timaru. We have 3 children, all have left home and 2 are currently working overseas.

Trish is a trained ESOL teacher and has both High School and Language School experience and as a family we have hosted Foreign Students for a number of years.

"Our vision is to provide a unique English experience, activity based holiday programme for between 1 and 3 people either as a group or individuals for up to 4 weeks."

Trish enjoys cultural activities, enjoys attending local theatre productions, shopping and travel.

John is more sports and outdoor minded, plays golf on an 11 handicap at his local club, enjoys yachting and of course, like most New Zealanders, loves Rugby.

"The good news is that we both love entertaining guests so please come and experience life in a New Zealand home, practise English and have some great experiences with us."
